Just a quick question, when Microcash comes out will Solidcoins get transfered automatically?

Within reason it will be automatic. I'll be detailing the conversion process shortly to ensure funds get converted automatically for you.

Thanks, this is great news. Means I can just change the layout of my Solidcoin Faucet to Microcash and then be active for payouts quickly.

It seems that the 250 BTC goal was reached, but the first page post has not been updated.

Yes I forgot to update this page, I was going to write a post when I got back to work on MC in the next few days. It was reported on IRC though.

Anyway, the BETA isn't _that_ far from being ready. Maybe a week or two of some hard coding. So here is where we are at.

I'll be willing to complete the beta as quickly as possible if people want to donate some BTC to me, this way I can show the wife it's more like a job than a hobby. As to the amount, I think 250BTC would be enough to get her off my back for the time required to finish the beta whilst simultaneously giving me more motivation (as people have paid me to work in essence).

If people don't want to do that, that is fine, I will code on the beta myself as I find the free time, as the other developers may too. The ETA of which is hopefully before the end of this year. There is too much new and exciting code in MicroCash for me to give up on it completely so that will never happen.

Lately I've begun wondering if you've got the whole concept of weeks and months wrong... I'm starting to feel sorry for the people who donated their hard earned Bitcoins for basically nothing.

+ 1

Only one forum update by RealSolid in the past 5 weeks, and the fact that we are going on 7 weeks now for a coding project that was "Maybe a week or two of some hard coding." and this
is not exactly what I had in mind when I helped to get RealSolid the BTC bounty he said he needed to finish the project.

Don't be discouraged, the team is hard at work! Keep in mind that we had trust nodes that went belly up recently (the current chain requires care and feeding and the same team is taking care of that as well). As we all know, the updates will be forthcoming once it is time for all of us to put the MC beta to the test. Keep "patience" alive! ;)

It would mean alot to all of us if Real Solid could at least give us a basic update on how things are at the moment? Alot of people hear have donated their money to this project and just saying you are hard at work, I don't feel is enough. Which part of the development process are you working on right now? How much involvement is RealSolid having in this process? And do you have a idea of a, estimated timescale for a beta deployment?

The longer this goes on the more people are going to forget about Solidcoin and MIrcocash, which I don't want to see happen as I believe in the future of Microcash and support its network.

I would like to add-- CaptChadd posted this not to long ago today, and he already has 3 upvotes. People are interested, we're just silent. This forum is dead... because we haven't heard anything new.

I know that this forum is a low priority for the devs but please, someone, try to come in hear once every couple of weeks and mention "something".

Many of us still have faith, but this has been a ridiculously long experience in exercising patience.

I still got faith and I even bought some SC yesterday. If notyep is right there was so much effort put in this project during last months that we can wait for a new miracle. Still It is interesting why so much secrecy.

It takes 30 seconds for RealSolid to make a post on here saying a percentage of what the beta development stage is at. He seems to come here loads for a while and then nothing for ages.

I try to keep a browser window open, pointing to the IRC channel. There are a couple of us who speak up and say something every now and then. But, it's rarely about Microcash.

The most I have seen the past month is I think I saw RS say "Hi" to someone once. Yes, just "Hello". Nothing more. So... the devs still exist who knows what they are doing. They refuse to asnwer our questions.

Yeah I think that "someone" was me... Haven't heard from him since. Anyway, my trust in RS is long gone, he scammed his fellow MicroCash supporters on 250BTC and went underground, that sort of behavior doesn't deserve my trust. Over and out...
