There is too much new and exciting code in MicroCash for me to give up on it completely so that will never happen.

This... is what I wanted to hear.
People, let's give RealSolid his BTC so we can have our puppy.

As one of alternatives to (crowd)fund development heard about kickstarter.com service quite a lot recently. One example of software project is Wasteland 2 - successfully raised almost 3M$ (3x times more than they needed originally) - details http://www.kickstart...ile/wasteland-2 .

This is actually a great idea and I will be promoting it around dev team! Thx for that! However I am not that sure wether the project will fit into their standards. But this might be a nice to let people know about it anyway.

RealSolid - thx for your attitude and all the things you have done so far for microcash. People are starting to realize this currency actually has a future and show a great potential.

I offer initial donation of 5 BTC, and then 10 percent match to any donation up to total of 250 BTC. How's that?

That booster.io site takes a 5% fee, bit excessive I think.

I'll give an address to donate to, please either PM me whatever you send or post it here so it will be possible to give a refund if necessary.

come on guys...

this 50/250 is all what the SC-community will do for the SC/MC-lead-developer?

i think there are some fine SC-invested people, who are waiting for the others to donate...

it is not very hard to do it :)

What if someone published this request for donations also on the BitcoinTalk forum?

Edit: Microcash.org main page would be another obvious place to mention it.

I am willing to sell 20K SC for 200BTC to pay RealSolid to finish the work on the MicroCash beta and release it to the public. If need be I am willing to break up the 20K SC
into smaller orders as long as the total BTC is 200BTC.

Lets get this done!

*edited post to reflect current BTC donations received.

** Sold 17K SC to Schwede65 for 139BTC. All 139BTC were sent directly to RealSolid's BTC wallet and All 17K SC were sent directly to Schwede65.
Both transactions were openly posted in the #microcash irc channel and have been 100% confirmed **

*** I personally sent 25BTC immediately following the 139BTC Schwede65 sent bringing the btc wallet total up to 225BTC***

ONLY 25BTC LEFT PEOPLE !!! LETS GET IT DONE !!!

I updated the address to donate to. Originally I was using an ewallet service as my btc blockchain had corrupted. Due to the increase in funds in the last day I downloaded the blockchain and moved all btc to my own wallets so no "accidents" could happen. Thanks to recent donators!

wow that is HUGE!!!!

On a side note, it's currently difficult for me to donate in btc. In that regard AnttiMs suggestion https://booster.io/ looks decent to me. Can we gather some donations through that site?

I would be able to donate more... I know it's wise to set up an easy way to get btc for myself, but I just don't have the time now .

I'm late with my donation because I'm enjoying my holidays with very limited internet access.

as a big SC/MC supporter I just want to get the MC baby born, healthy and alive...

for the moment, 10 BTC is all I have in BTC's - I just remotely kick-started my GPU's to produce some more.
hopefully the BTC chain is not crashing in the meantime ;-)

RS, many thanks for all the good ideas and for everything you made for SC/MC.
keep up the good work!

252BTC that is just AWESOME !!! Great job SC/MC community coming together to get this done!!! This is what having a dedicated community focused on a common goal is all about.

I hope RealSolid, doesn't wait too long to convert some of the btc into USD and the price falls back down to the $7-8 range before he can sell some.

Thanks again to everyone who stepped up to the plate to get this job done.
